Question about 2000 Ford Windstar
I have a 2000 Ford windstar SE, and this car has an VCR enterteinmet unit locate it at the mittle of the two seats at the front... I would like two know where is the power of this unit come from or is it has a specific fuse I got to check. Because I check all fuses from the front box and under the hood and it seems that all of them are good. Where should the power come from?
the blendor actuators strip out the gear inside the actuator cases on these all the time. replace the actuator.

Testimonial: "thank you for your help!"
I had this problem a few years ago with my 1998 Windstar. It would only happen when the rear was loaded, e.g. when I had passengers in the middle or back seat. When it was just the driver and a front seat passenger, no gas smell.
The problem was a bad seal at the top of the gas tank. The extra weight over the rear of the van tipped the body enough to have a little gas leak from a full tank.
Unfortunately the fix cost about $300, mostly labor to remove the tank, fix the 29 cent gasket, and reinstall the tank.
