It should be on the lower right hand side in front of engine, look at your serpentine belt and it should wrap around a pulley that operates the pump, will be small, and if you find the right resivior, it will have a small dipstick attached to the cap, this will be the power steering put, be careful not to overservice, or premature failure may result. It is most likely just low on fluid and when you make a turn the level rises slightly enough to pick up fluid to operate the assisted steering.

During the ice/snow our power steering unit broke, we replaced it and it leaked...had a guy come back out and he put a round seal on it that he had forgotten to do the first time, filled the power...

The cheapest that I can think of is to check all the hose fittings are tight. If he forgot a critical item such as a seal then maybe he forgot to tighten all the hoses.. Other than that check for leaks in hoses and steering assemblies.

Very hard to steer, had the power steering pump replaced, worked fine the night it was replaced, on my way to work the next morning, it started having problems steering again. Please help!

Check the fluid level and add if it's low on fluid, look for visible leaks that will need to be addressed. The only other thing to that may have gone bad is the power steering rack and will need to be replaced. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know your got your car running 100% again soon.

You will have to replace the pump. try removing the pump and see if it turns with the engine off and the key unlocked . Even though it is hard . If it turns replace the pump.
