Question about 1999 Saturn SL
I replace the battery., rebuild the alternator, change selenoid and bushings of the starter, , the battery only last 2 days.i replaced the battery today, and all the lights on radio but wont start____ is it a sensor or relay problem ,,,,thanks
Looking at the brief outline of your problem it may be due to ignition switch failure? You obviously seem a competant Mechanic by all the jobs you have done already?
Have you tried Hot wiring the starter? (Take a insulated live+ wire from the battery and flash the solenoid)
Or if it is easier remove the block from behind the ignition switch and hot wire from there as I think it is this that's the fault.
A common problem on Vw's you twist the key all the way but the starter connection doesn't make so the solenoid on the starter doesn't get power.
Hope this FixYa'Z problem!
