Carefully start at bottom of panel & pry away with door open ,but make sure you take any screws out holding on most are in handle area, along with any wire harness connections should be held to door with button rivets (small plastic pressure rings)once all are lose inside panel should lift up off door.

What model years have interchangeable doors?

A search I did suggested that the 2002 - 2005 were interchangeable. But that was for an Explorer door, LH, not the Sport Trac.

Cant open passenger door from outside 2001 ford explorer sport trac

You have to remove the door panel. Look for screws around the sides and bottom. Also some hidden around the door handle and arm rest. Lift up on it first, if it doesn't lift then pop the panel off, start at the bottom. Pull back the plastic and look to see what is broke.

Take out the screws around the inner handle. Gently pry around the edges of the door panel to remove the plastic clips. Lift up slightly to get the upper edge loose. Pull out slowly to reveal the plug leading to the back of the power master switch (door locks and windows controls)

My drivers side electric window stop working 2002 ford sport trac. how do you change the motor

To remove the door panel, phillips head door screws should be removed, and the panel should slide up. Next, unbolt the window from the regulator and remove the window from the door. Then unbolt the regulator. The regulator and the motor have to be removed together. The motor will be mounted to the door on the inside. There should be three screws or nuts (10mm) holding the motor in. Remove motor and regulator. Reverse to reinstall.

HOW TO GET WINDOW OF A 2002 WINDOW REAR PASSENGER BACK ON TRAC

sounds to me like you may have a broken window regulator. Does the window go up and down still? reason I ask is cause I had a simaler problem with my pass. fr. door window (went down and never came back up) turned out to be a broken cable assem. in the regulator (cable driven design on late model '02's (JAN '02) build date and later) "early" models (JUNE '01-DEC.'01) used "steel track" regulators, an "m' fr'" to remove and install, mine turned out to be a "late" model ( FEB.'02) build date ( thank God!). Anyway, let me know whats up with it if you havent already fixed it. Good luck!

Use a trim removal tool to remove the clips that hold the door panel on the outer edges. Work from the bottom up and when you get to the middle, remove the screws that hold the arm rest in place. You may need a small flat-bladed screwdriver to get any trim around any switch plates. Be careful with the door handle as you slide the door panel off, as many people complain that they can't get it to work once they put it all back together. (don't let it get bent too severely or let any parts fall off.) When you work on this, have a magnet on a telescoping handle handy in case anything falls into the door that you need to retrieve. You can get a trim tool at any auto parts store.

Changing outside door handle drivers door

first disconnect the negative side of battery and then open the door and start looking for small black screws or nuts then remove you find some hidden behind what look like little doors that you will need to remove with a screw driver becareful not to pry the plastic completely out of the door panel itself because if this happens you will have to figure out a way to repair so the panel will stay on the door get a thin pry bar to this job or a butter knife

Replace speakers on Ford Explorer Sport Trac

The front and rear door panels must be removed. The interior door handle will have to be removed, and the power window switch will also have be removed. This is held in by metal clips that secure it to the door panel. Do not be afraid to use a little force to get under the switch panel, and pry it from the door panel. Once you have all accessories off of the door panel, look for what may appear to be "plugs" in the door panel. These may conceal the presence of a screw. Also, check around the interior door pull for screws or "plugs". When this is done, use a medium to large screwdriver, or a trim removal tool, and start prying the door panel away from the door. Start at the bottom, and work your way around the door, until you get about 2-3 inches from the top of the panel where it meets the window. When you are at this point front and rear, simply lift up on the door panel, and it should come off easily. Once the panel is removed, you will easily find the speakers.
