Your blower motor is under the hood. If you can't buy one try drilling a hole in the back of motor where the bearing is use a real small drill bit. Then you can oil the back bearing .You have to take the blower out to oil the front. The only way to do it is squirt it on the shaft and just let it run down.

Its a simple motor run one wire to the motor from the positive side of the battery and the other side of battery run to the metal part of the motor unless there is two wire hook up on the motor. then there would be one positive and one negative and it don't make anydifference which way you hook them up because it will turn either way.

It could be that your fan switch is shorted out. You might be able to find a good switch in a car junk yard for a good price. The only thing that is difficult is installation. I hope this helps a little. If it isn't the switch then you may just have to replace the motor.

Heater fan only blows on high speed

most likely the resister. Not very expensive part and should be easy to change out if you know where its located ( usually under the dash) You can buy a repair manual for your model at any parts store, and be sure to ask the parts guy if he knows where its located. he might just be able to save you the cost of the manual. Good luck with it.

Heater fan not operating

Most of the time when a heater blower quits working it is the blower switch that fails rather than the motor. Blower switch can be accessed in the dash panel.

1991 Olds 98 Elite heater blower motor continues to run with key off. Will change speeds with controls but will NOT shut off..

if you haven't got your blower fan fixed yet, im sure it to be the same as mine, the blower motor relay which is out on the firewall under the big fuse block. take plastic cover off over the fuses and move the fuse block out of the way and you will see it staight under that. should be two screws holding it on.

The resistors are in circuit only on the lower fan speed settings.
On the highest speed setting, power is switched directly to the fan motor.
Check fan power supply fuses,
Check power is available to the fan when high speed selected.
If all above OK, apply power directly to the motor to verify fan motor runs- if it doesn't the motor may need replacement/repair.

Blower motor has no power 1994 cadillac deville

If there is only high speed fan, then replace the resistor assembly in the heater plenum. If there is no fan at all, then check the ground to the blower- the wire fails down in the fender well. Just run a new ground from a convenient spot to the motor's plug harness. Or it could just be a bad blower motor.

Blower on the heater/AC not working on 1998 Escort, checked fuse under dash?

Ok, first off, check the fuses under the dash. If they're all good, does the blower work only on high speed? If yes, then you have a bad blower motor resistor, which is located under the hood, near the blower motor itself. If the motor doesnt work at all at any fan speed, make sure the wiring harness that plugs into the motor under the hood is clean and tightly installed. If it still doesnt operate, sometimes tapping on the blower motor housing will kick it on, but if that doesnt work, you may have to replace the blower motor. They are available aftermarket, and arent usually too expensive.

Heater fan will not run

check the heater blower motor resistor not entirely sure where it is on your vehicle but they are always located near the fan in the heater box
you may also want to check the fan speed switch as well as the heater fuse in your fuse box
Hope This Helps.Good luck
