SOURCE: How do I program my key for my 2006 Chevy Impala?

Add Duplicate Key (PK3 or PK3+ key)
1. Insert an existing key into the ignition cylinder.
2. Turn the ignition cylinder to ON (RUN) and back to OFF.
3. Remove the existing key and, within fifteen seconds, insert the new key
and turn it to ON (RUN).
4. The security light will light up for two seconds to indicate success in programming
the key into the vehicle.
Originate New Master Key (PK3 or PK3+ key)

1. Insert new key into ignition cylinder and turn it to the ON (RUN) position.
The security light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten minutes.
2. When the security light goes out, you have one minute to start the next
step. Turn the ignition cylinder to OFF and then back to the ON (RUN)
position. The security light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten
more minutes.
3. When the security light goes out, you have one minute to start the next
step. Turn the ignition cylinder to OFF and then back on the ON (RUN)
position. The security light on the dash will illuminate and stay on for ten
more minutes.
4. After the security light has gone off the third time, the key has been programmed
into the vehicle’s computer and will operate the car. It has replaced ALL the
previous electronic key codes and is the ONLY key programmed into the
vehicle’s computer.

Add Duplicate Key (PK3 or PK3+ key)

SOURCE: how do you change the manual transmission fluid in

Hello,

In a manual car you do not change or flush the transmission fluid. the only fluid you change is the gear oil for the clutch. The manual transmissions do not have the ability to be flushed or changed as it does not have the same internals as an automatic transmission

Cheers!
Ryan

SOURCE: 2006 Chevy Impala reduced engine power

best bet is to stop in at a Pep Boys, Autozone, or similar big autoparts seller, and ask for free trouble code scan, which should pinpoint area causing problem. If not obvious by codes, what is necessary to repair the problem code, get back to us with those codes and we will be glad to assist you further. Better this way, takes away the guess work, and saves you money, as well as getting it right the first time.

SOURCE: 2006 chevy impala windshield wiper fluid will not work

If you don`t hear the pump running when you press the washer button then it could be the pump.Make sure the fuse is good. The pump is located at the bottom of the washer bottle.check to see if you have power to the pump with a test light while someone presses the button your test light should light. If it does then the pump is bad. Also make sure the ground is good at the pump connector. If you can hear the pump then make sure the lines are not plugged.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Connect vacuum gauge to test. Also, use 6 feet of hose one end in ear and other poking around under hood to listen for leaking vacuum.

P/s fluid leak and is getting on the alternator

Its a Chevy... I am a Chevy lover but Chevys p/s fluid always leaks. it does in my '05 Impala and it does in my '08 1 ton Silverado and about every other Chevy or Pontiac I have ever had. Just use a name brand p/s fluid that contains stop leak... might not cure it but will slow it down ALOT...

My 2002 chevy impala is leaking transmission fluid from the bottom line that goes to the radiator

The line could need to be tightened. Tighten it with a 1/2" line wrench.(I think thats the right size for your car) Then check the trans fluid level to be sure its at the right level.
