Pop off the trim bezil on the dash, When you have it off there is 4 bolts that you take out , Plus 1 from the bracket on the radio, Then it should pull out, That you can unplug the wireing harness from it.

Removing the cover from the radio and heater console

The bezel surrounding the radio and heater/AC controls is held on with 6 tension clips. It also has tabs at the top that are held under the adjacent horizontal trim pieces.

Remove the horizontal trim pieces on each side of the radio bezel using a small plastic pry tool. They will pop off fairly easily. Then simply use the pry tool to work your way around the radio bezel and pop it off as well. This will expose the heater control that you need to replace.

I need to reconnect the radio to the antenna how do you get access to the back of the radio to plug in the antenna?

To gain access to the antena plug on 98 and later models the intrument cluster bezel has to be removed and the radio mounting screws removed in order to get to the connectors for the radio and antena connectors.TO remove the bezel you want to first remove the negative cable so that you dont accedentully set off the airbag system. Then you want to put the steering wheel in the lowest position and remove the screws in the bezel. Then with a flat screwdriver carefully pry the bezel the bezel out of the clips.Once this is done you will have access to the radio mounting screws.I hope this helps .

How do you remove the stock radio from a 2007 accent hatchback

First, you have to remove the bezel that surrounds the radio. You have to find something thin and sturdy to slide in behind the bezel to carefully pry it away from the dash assembly. Something along the lines of a plastic spackling knife will prevent scratching the dash. There are no screws, only clips holding that bezel in place.

Once you remove the bezel, you will see four screws holding the stock radio in place. Remove those, then slide the radio out.

You will need to unplug the wiring and antenna from the rear of the unit for complete removal.

How to replace radio in 2007 kia optima .. I need to know how to remove old radio and trim

The trim snaps in, no screws! I have used a hook type screwdriver, the kind used to install springs... I carefully insert the tool between the lower left corner of the radio and the bezel. Rotate the tool 90 degrees toward the bezel and pull straight out. Id say it comes off with maybe 15 pounds of pulling force. The radio is screwed in with brackets. You'll see once the bezel is off. **Keep in mind that many Optimas use an external amp located between the right rear door and wheel well. Also, some use 2 ohm speakers, all the way around. You may need to change all of it to upgrade your sound system, I did**. Good luck.

Replacing radio, need to know how to remove dash

dash is ismply snapped into place. There are only plugs in teh dash if your model is a 4wd. It's easiest to tilt the steering wheel all the eay down for removal of the dash bezel. Once the bezel is removed there are only two screws holding in the factory radio.

2001 sebring and the radio quit working

To remove the radio, you have to remove the bezel (the finished plastic) around it. There are screws you need to remove (probably torx heads). Once you remove the screws, you should be able to carefully pop the bezel off - there may some spring clips holding it.

Removing radio from 2008 f250

First you will have to remove the bezel around the radio. This bezel will also be from top to bottom. The bezel is snapped into the vehicle. Pry it out very carfully. Clips will be located at the top, middle, and bottom of bezel. Once snapped out, unplug harnesses so that you can easily work with radio and will help with not scrathing bezel. Once the bezel is out of the way, there will be four screws, 7mm or 9/32 use either socket size, that will be holding radio in place. Remove screws and then pull out radio. Use an aftermarket wire harness to make your installation easier. Install bracket and radio using screws removed and resnap bezel in place.
