Question about 2000 Ford Windstar
The coolant is black in my 2000 winstar.
No loss of power or coolant. Still runs well. Not sure if the engine oil is cooled or exposed to coolant. Headgasket??
Engine was low on oil when checked. No leaks on ground. Oil very dark and appears to have no coolant in.
Intake manifold gaskets replaced several years back.
Some problems with speed/tack/abs light/AC. Not sure if there is any corelation??
2 types of engine coolant one is green other is pink wrong one is used it changes color to black! witch one did you use? your vehicle may be faced with this I found 5 cars like this with this problem= wrong coolant installed!
