Question about 1996 Buick Roadmaster

Open Question

Where is the heater valve located in the 1995 Buick Roadmaster?

Digital control showing heated climate, however, air is not blowing at that temperature. The temperature is continuing to be cool instead of warm.

SOURCE: heater core replacement

OK, Ifound the problem with mine. Dont unplug your air dryer. I checked the 2 hoses coming out from the heater core and still one was hot and the other not hot. The top one comes from the radiator fill tank and the bottom one comes out of the core and goes around to the front and into the water pump. I disconnected both close to the core and could runwater through both directions so upon further examination, I disconnected the hose at the water pump and no water flow. The hose was plugged up with something. Once I cleared it with a hanger and reconnected it I had water flowing through the core and great heat. Hope this is your problem too as it is aneasy fix

SOURCE: 1995 Buick Roadmaster - Can't get warm air from heater

Could be a problem with the auto system, could be a bad blend door, could be a clogged heater core. Are both heater hoses hot? If so, you have eliminated the heater core. If not, probably the heater core. You wil need a computer to diagnose the other 2.

SOURCE: 1998 Buick Century Air Conditioner not blowing out cold air

My 98 Buick Century was doing the same thing. Up here is the north we have Canadian Tire. Went in there picked up a aircon recharge kit called RED TEC 12A hole kit costs $40 cnd I put 1 can in on the low pressure side which is the only fitting that the filler would fit on and now I have 33 degree air coming out of the drivers side and a couple degrees colder from passenger side.
I am sure you guys have something like Canadian tire down there you might even try Wallmart.

1995 buick park avenue a/c digital face stoped working and now blowing cold air all the time

Quite possible a blown fuse. However there is also a blower control module located under the hood near the center of the fire wall. It bolts into the heater box assembly, not to far from the blower motor. You may have to remove the relay/fuse cover assembly to see it. They are known to short out and cause all kinds of problems. Remember though it could also be a simple fuse in that area or under the dash. The worst case here is the whole climate control system in the dash failed.

make sure you dont have a vacuum line off under the hood, going into the firewall, or to a control valve that shuts off the hot water to the heater
