SOURCE: blower motor only works on lower speed ranges

it's likely the resister block that needs to be replaced... you can locate the part mounted on the duct work under the dash near the fan... there is a connector on it and two to three bolts to remove it.

Y wont my heater get hot and my ac wont get cold?

Ok well every heating system and A/c system work very much the same...there are some troubleshooting Steps I would suggest...
First for the heating issue:
Step 1: Check Coolant level Low coolant can cause warm to cool air threw your heating system, not enough to fully heat...Caution: make sure the engine is cool when checking..You should have a tank that you can see the level..if not the top of the radiator is good.
Step 2: Any leaks in the coolant system, by just looking under the hood depending on the color, (Purple, Red, Orange, and Green) The system needs to obtain a certain Pressure to be effective..
Step 3: If all above checks ok...Assuming the blower motor is working correctly and good flow is present, there may be a vacuum leak or electronic divert-er malfunctioning( mixing cold and hot air thus getting warm air)
Step 4: Bring it to a shop, you may have a plugged heater core, an malfunctioning Thermostat, or an inefficient water pump...Hope this helps.

As for the A/c Not cooling...All cars that are 96 or newer must be charged with R-134a refrigerant...This can only be serviced by a shop that can deal with A/C recharging...could be low refrigerant, bad a/c clutch, bad compressor good luck hope this help

Is this furnace A/C ready out of the box when it was purchased. Extra relay has been added. Problem is they have the low speed wired from this relay to run all the time which we want to disconect but

Blowers normally have different color wires for different speeds. Check the inside panels of the furnace for a diagram. Usually you pick only one speed for your heat and one for the A/C. The circuit board should have different connections for heat and A/C hook up. It seems someone bypassed these connection and connected the blower's low speed wire with the furnaces power source making it go on and staying on with the furnace. This may have been done to keep the air circulating to mantain a consitant temperature in the home. The blower should go on only when the temperature inside the fire box reaches a certain temperature. This eliminates cold air to be blown around at start up. Hope this helps!

The air conditioner isnt blowing hard

Do the blower speed settings still work, just weaker? Or is it just one low speed all the time? If you can still change the speeds then it's a weak blower motor. If its just one low speed all the time, (same speed for high and low blower speed settings) then you need a blower motor resistor.

check to see if there is a resistor on the blower motor. it should be located either beside or underneath the blower motor.. if that is bad it wont let you select different fan speed settings and if it goes completely out the blower will not work at all.

On my santa fe the heater wont turn on. I have

It could be your blower switch, but more than likely it's a resistor that is usually a part of the blower assembly, and it operates the speeds. Doesn't cost much but can be tricky installing. If you had one or two speeds not working, initially, eventually all may stop. If fan stopped working and all speeds had been operating, then you may have a bad wire or blower motor. Also, check your manual for fuses, as there may be a compartment inside the vehicle as well as one under the hood.

blower motor resistor is a highly probable cause.. another would be the switch/selector itself.
