No power to fuel pump and ignition coil

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS and am not getting power to the fuel pump or the ignition coil.

It ran for about 5 minutes and then, died and wouldn't start up again.

I have replaced the fuel pump, fuel pump relay and the Emergency Engine Shutoff relay. It did fine for 2 weeks. But again no power to the fuel pump and sometimes to the coil. I have the same year, make and model as you. I'll let you know if I find a solution from anyone else besides this site.

Probably the most common problem, just had the same issue on my 1995 RS. Check the Crank sensor first, mine was located on the back of the block just above the oil filter housing. The other possibility is the Cam sensor, located on the right side end of the valve cover. If either one of these are bad, it will not send a signal to the computer to run the coils or the fuel pump.

I have a 95 Mitsubishi eclipse that will not start. There is no power to coil or fuel pump. I have replaced asd relay and fuel pump relay also the camshaft sensor. What could be the cause? Help please.

A broken or corroded wire in the ASD relay socket, a blown fuse, a loose bulkhead connector, or even a faulty ignition switch- not the key portion, but the electrical portion where the wiring harness attaches to the steering column. Using a test light, a buzzer or a volt meter you can see if the switch is getting power- and also see which terminals are getting power when the ignition switch is moved.

I have 95 eclipse non turbo i change fuel pump and relay but it wont start whats wrong ?

Its probably got an electric igniter rather than a coil, either way it sounds like your not getting for in your piston cylinder.

My mitsubishi eclipse 95 gs wont start and theres no light on my dash bored it will cranck but wont start at all i need help asap

Since the engine cranks, the battery, starter motor/starter motor solenoid are most likely
good, so suspect everything else on the list. When you narrow it down, re-post with a
more specific question about that particular component, since 100s of components must operate
nearly perfectly for a vehicle to actually start.

Won't start, fuel pump not getting any power

Check the fuel system2_bing.gif to make sure it's getting gas. Take the back seat out and turn the ignition on without cranking the car. You should hear the fuel pump make noise for a few seconds as it pressurizes the system and then turns off. If you don't hear anything, it would probably be the pump or one of the two relays on the firewall2_bing.gif next to the master cylinder.
