My Van is over heating and I have no heat coming through the front or back vents?

This is the primary cause of engine overheating. Possible leak points include hoses, the radiator, water pump, thermostat housing, heater core, head gasket, freeze plugs, automatic transmission oil cooler, cylinder heads and block. ... A leak-free system should hold pressure for at least one minute.

Heater blows cold air

CHECK HOSES FROM RAD TO SEE IF THERE BOTH HOT.... U MAY HAVE A DEFECTIVE THER.MOSTAT.. IF NEED TO REPLACE, USE A FAIL SAFE TYPE...WHEN THEY FAIL .THEY STAY OPEN SO U DON.T OVER HEAT UR ENGINE &DO ALOT OF DAMAGE CAUSE THERE,S SOME MUCH ALUM IN ENGINES THESE DAYS... ALSO CHECK FOR AIR LOCK IN THE SYSTEM...LEAVE RAD CAP &RUN THE ENGINE TILL IT,S HOT.. WHILE THE FLUID IS CIRCULATING, IT SHOULD EXPELL ANY AIR IF ANY IN THE SYSTEM, GD LK, CHARLIE
