Did the place you got the new one from tell you it would fit, It not that easy to no, Phone a muffler shop,They will be able to tell you, Or a repitable parts supply store, Because they will be asking you what motor is in it,

SOURCE: 2001 Mazda MPV upper front oxygen sensor change

No you don't have to move any of that you need a "crow foot" type oxygen sensor it looks like a short brake line wrench that you can put a 3/8 ratchet on it with an extension. This will help you to get this sensor out. Good Luck

Need to know how to replace spark plugs and wires on a v6 mazda 2001

All you need is a deep socket that is the right size to fit your spark plugs and the new set of leads.

Spark plugs:
remove the spark plug end of the lead, use a screw driver and rag to place down the whole to mop up any oil that may be down there. remove your spark plug, place the new one in and replace the lead. simple as that really.

Leads:
These can be more difficult. As you pull the leads off the park plugs and distributor you will need to take note of which lead goes where and write it down. once all 6 are removed just simply reverse the process. A good rule of thumb is the length of the leadas to its location on the engine but dont take it for granted.

Hi my 2001 mazda mpv started staling when come to a stop and had very low rpms when idleing. I ran a obd2 test and the idle air control came up and crankshaft position sensor. I changed IAC with new one,...

After I visited the website named "MPVclub.com," I read an article there that shows the crank position sensor to be located on the right side of the motor buy the crank pulley. You can't miss it, it is right in between the crank pulley and the a/c compressor. Go to www.MPVclub.com, then go to forums, which is on the left hand side of the page, go to 00-06 MPVproblems, go to page 2 and go to the bottom of the page to "PO335 Crankshaft position sensor Replacement, you will see the comments and some pics that will guide you to it.
Hope this helps.

Need to change spark plugs on my 2001 mazda mpv. able to change front ones need to know how to get to the back ones. what do i need to remove.

It's a bi... I wanted to remove the top of my engine to do mine. You have to reach them up from underneath and see if taking off the front tire will help, it's all very difficult. A good shop light, spark plug flex socket with extension and a flex head ratchet.
Good luck and thanks for your question and I hope my suggestions help. burdfrenzy

How do I replace the flex coupling on my 1996 toyota tarago? The product section doesn't list Tarago, its an Australian model! Big 8 seater MPV, but I am sure you clever Toyota mechanics know that already!...

undo all covers to allow acess to shaft undo all bolts holding flex coupler 6mm allen key + 12mm spanner undo the gaurd the shaft goes through remove all bolts, lever rear coupler apart, push rear of shaft towards passenger side of car, slide shaft out, refitt in opposite order, certain models toyota tells you that whole shaft required, for about 3,000 dollars . after market couplers available from hardy spicer, shaft will have to be removed first to know if 12mm or 14mm dowel into end of shaft
hope this helps
