Question about 2002 Chrysler Town & Country
The headlights and interior lights go off and then back on without warning. It's very quick, and there's no pattern of when it occurs. Intown speeds or highway speeds (that was scary). Also, the lighting around the temperature gauge has become dim, and I recently had one headlight go out. The light on the overhead console on the passenger side sometimes 'comes on' and others not. And finally, the newest change is that the fan runs only on high---Did i mention that the thermostat was recently changed, but the van is still erratic in how much heat it puts out.
For the fan, if it is the front one, pull the glove box out, to get to the resistor mounted on the outside of the rounded fan box. About a 20 minute fix for about 20 bucks. As for the other problems, I would take it in and have it checked for computer error codes. From what I have read of others' trouble and some of my own, it may be the main computer acting up.
