Your local parts store will have the tool to do this. Resembles a pair of plyers with a cone jutting perpendicular to the jaws. Insert the tool over the fuel line, slide it into the fuel pump fitting and pull the line back. Requires you to push and pull at the same time. Tell the parts counterman what you're trying to do...he should know what you need.
