is the car on recirculate or fresh air? air from your aircon comes through the bottom of your front windscreen, make sure its clear and free of leaves or anything that can cause blockage to stop it from become damp inside the aircon ducts. if it is definately petrol fumes you may have an exhaust leaking from your engine bay, releasing the fumes into your cabin, that is the most common reason for petrol fumes in your aircon.

The shaking can be dependent on the engine size and configuration. The sulpher smell is from the catalytic converter starting to work as it is supposed to. Your problem could be as simple as a cold start sensor not working correctly. Your vehicle may or may not have one, but it should have something like it to tell the ECM (engine control module) how to run the engine when it is cold. Newer vehicles also use a sensor in the air-cleaner to measure the temp of the air going into the engine and then adjusts the engines fuel, timimg and other functions to make it run correctly. Your best bet would be to have a shop put it on a diagnostic machine and check the engine systems operations. Most all newer vehicles are computerized for better engine and emission operations, so it requires a machine to check them out. Good Luck, RAC

lie on your back or jack the car up and reach up behind the bumper and pull the harness off the back of the bulb. twist the bulb counter clock wise and pull it out....

If there is no decal under the hood somewhere, start with the belt around the crankshaft, and then go flats to flats, ribs to ribs. You may have to try a couple of times, but you'll get it.
