SOURCE: 2004 Silverado A/C dual control problem

Hi,
May or may not help... I've had ongoing issues with my heater/ac, where it's like a vapor lock or something, sometimes the selected vent etc. doesn't work right, etc., like the vacuum control is f'd up.
I topped off my coolant, and things cleared up. Air in the coolant lines???
Hope this is a cheap fix for you.

SOURCE: Power steering and brake line location2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD

the power steering lines are very short hoses approximately 8 inches long that go from the power steering pump down to the steering box, which is located on the frame, just below the pump. The brake lines run from the master cylinder(where you fill it with fluid on the drivers side firewall) down to the frame, and then follow the frame both directions; both to the front end and the rear end, along the drivers side frame rail, just on the inside of it. The fuel line runs along the same path to the rear.

If you feel this rattle while driving at low speed or turning at low speed it is likely a worn out steering shaft coupler, it is very common.

The door you are talking about has an actuator motor on the bottom of the blower box, look in the middle, under the dash, that will be the one, make sure it is plugged up,if not,it may need replacing.

How do you get access to the day time headlight bulbs to replace them on a 2004 Chevy 2500 HD crew cab.

Pull on the flat "clips" to unlock the headlights, remove the headlight assembly. You can then access the DRL bulb sockets, squeeze in the tab on the socket and twist a 1/4 turn to release the socket (clockwise as viewed from the front of the lens).

2500 hd duramax crew cab 4 WD pulls right. Both

First try rotating the tires to the rear. Does it go away? If you apply the brakes does it pull to the left? Could be a draging caliper or the slides may be hanging up.
