Question about 1992 Ford Ranger
92' Ford Ranger 2.3 liter given to me that had set up, a year and a half due to fuel pump problems. I dropped the fuel tank drained and cleaned it out. removed the in tank fuel pump and replaced it with a externial bolt on type . Mr Gasket 12 volt/ 12 lb. in line fuel pump. Replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, plug wires, and air filter. I drained all air out of fuel rail. Now sometimes it fires right up and runs smoothly for a while befor stalling and dieing. Other times it takes a while to get it to spudder run I call it as it spudders more than run then it dies after a very ruff idle. It also has problems eccepting the gas when pressing the gas pedal. Any info on the problem I would be Thankful James Howe
Put a pump back into the tank --and this will take care of the fuel delivery problem
