chk out if there is any noise comes out from engine while driving like hammering noise if it is then there is need to chk acelerator pedal position sensor, throttle body if these are all ok than need to chk out the upper assembly of the engine
Oil light/sensor is more than likely triggering chk engine light. Chk oil sending unit ,oil level. All else fails ck w/dealer. 03's had instrument panel recall. ck with dealer for any recalls in effect.
I am no expert here but it sounds like a computer problem, that much all at once. chk. all plugs that go into computer maybe ones loose or sliped out. Chk. all ground wires from body to engine, and chassey. some of the grounds you may have to go under truck to chk. It only takes one to screw things up.
i would chk. break light switch. should be under dash above break pedel arm. emergency flashers will be on its own fuse, turn signals should have own fuse. as far as interior lights surging that could be ground or alt. chk. battery cables make sure clean and tight. not good idea unhooking bat. cable when running, one spark or surge to computer could burn up computer. besides that realy won't tell you anything if a diod is bad in alt. it may not show up until you tax the system. its best to take it someware like autozone, or any major auto parts store and have it chk.
Take throttle body off, clean Throttle Body with Carburator cleaner. I had same problem and its the ethynol in fuel that creates a build up in the throttle body which creates this problem. I did what a friend of mine said to do (service manager at Dodge Dealership) it hasnt happened again.
