When Crikey gets a hold of it, hit the scuba tank with your aqarang. This causes the tank to explode hurting Crikey. Repeat this until he is defeated.

We have had the car for only 4 weeks, and the gas engine now keeps coming on at very low speeds. The electric battery keeps switching to gas at any speed. Prior to this problem we were reaching speeds of...

I'm pretty sure that 4 weeks is within the the warranty period... If you think something is wrong with the battery power system don't hesitate to bring it in to your dealer. If you want to make sure they aren't BS-ing you, find an independent mechanic who works on hybrids, spend a little money, and have him just give it a preliminary look (no actual repairs) and ask him your questions once he sees the car. Then take that information to your dealer if he thinks something is wrong, so you'll have independent proof that there is an issue and they won't give you the "don't worry about it" run-around they do.\

Maybe you've been running at low speeds much more often and the battery has been running that whole time. When that happens the gas engine engages at lower speeds to take over for the battery as it charges. I would need to know more about your driving habits to assess the problem fully. Do you drive city miles a lot? Highway miles? about how many of each and how much time between the two?

Hi i have nissan 2001, consuming lot of fuel,

Take your foot of the gas. Fast starts ie speeding away from stops and starts burns more fuel.
Make sure your air filter is clean to allow proper fuel air mix ratio. If dirty replace it.
Lighten your load.Don't carry around a lot of dead weight in your truck. The heavier the load the more gas used.
Use a 91 or higher octane gas, this gas will burn hotter and give you more power thus again needing to step on the throttle less to create momentum
Try to maintain speed limit. speeding cost more.
