Have your brake drum components checked. It can be a loose brake shoe mounting or just a detached return spring.

I have 2003 gallant, Islammed on the brakes really hard, tried to drive the car from that spot, go in gear but wouldn't move, front wheels roll, rear wheels are locked up.

If rear brakes are drum-type it is possible the shoes are jammed on the drums. They are normally retracted from there by springs, but if there is breakage or corrosion they can jam in place. One place corrosion occurs is in the wheel brake cylinders, so then the pistons do not return properly,

The same can happen with disc brakes as the pads are normally pulled back after application, just a little, by the springiness of the rubber parts on the pistons. So if there is corrosion in the calipers the pistons can stick.

Then, if disc brake pads are worn right down, I have heard of cases where the piston popped right out of the caliper on heavy braking, or else turned a bit sideways and jammed on. It should never happen, but apparently did.

If disc brakes you should be able to see this when the wheel is off. The calipers can then be removed. If drum brakes try hammering on the outside rim of the drums, this way and that, to get enough de-jamming to get the drums off.

Check the Following:
Using the Right Key?
Wheels turned too far?
Wheels against a Curb?
Is your Key Worn?

Pull the Steering Wheel hard back and Forth while you are Turning the Key... This may free it up if the Wheels are Jammed

Try another Key, yours may be worn

1998 ford ranger wont reverse, the right real wheel wont spin but the left real wheel spin. It can only drive forward but not in reverse. Please help us on how to do it yourself.

either brakes are seized or the wheel bearing is seized. most likely the brakes are what seizes up. just jackup, and take tire off to check it out. it maybe a stuck brake, rust or dirt, or maybe a broken spring or two. good- day ! but first reach in back of tire and pull on the e-brake cable a few times at the problem wheel, it may be binding.

1989 ford f150 truck key will not turn in any position. tried jiggling steering wheel. any suggestions

This is a real shot in the dark but maybe it can get you out of a jam. Prehaps the steering wheel was turned very far to one side before the truck was turned off. The steering wheel would then be locked in this position. However, the steering wheel wants to return to the straight ahead position so it would putting pressure on the locking mechanism. This may prevent the key from turning. Try pulling on the steering wheel to the left or to the right while you try to turn the key. I hope this helps you out.

Can not turn the key to start the car

Some times the the steering wheel is turned and the locking pin will jam as the weight of the car or truck will try to force the wheel back to being straight. Turn the wheel left or right with force as you turn the key....

My back right wheel locked why and what can I do

The exact same thing happened to my 2004 Aveo on the same side. I had it towed to the mechanics and they informed me that GM glues the shoes to the pads and when they seperate they jam up and that locks your wheel. I had to get new brakes on the back so I just did the entire car in case they were all like that. Hope this helps.

How do I change the bulb in the low beam headlight in my 2007 Mazda CX7?

Removing the bulb in a CX7 is a real PITA. If replacing the right bulb, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right, or do the opposite for the left side. (or you can opt to remove the entire wheel on the corresponding side) You'll need to remove 3-4 of the fender well clips with a phillips screwdriver being careful not to break them. Once the screws are removed, pry back the wheel well cover to access the back of the headlamp to change the bulb.

You mean you can't get it out of 4WD???
Did you drive with full turned wheels to left or right with diff-lock on?? Then you have a real problem, cause you twist the shafts in the transfer case.
Let me know what exactly happened.
