Question about 1995 Toyota Camry

1995 Toyota Camry 4 cyl

WHen I put on the brake, my car seems to heistate, like it is going to die. If I am driving down the road it is fine. I have replaced spark plugs, wires, an intake gasket, it drove fine for 4 days, then it started acting up at stops.

I have had the EGR valve checked, it's ok, I have had the brake booster checked, it's ok, the IAC valve is ok. Do you think it is bad gas?

You may have one of two possible problems: A sticking EGR valve, or a malfunctioning Idle Air Control valve; both will give you the same result, trying to stall out.

Check the vacuum line from the brake booster to the intake for leaks or missing/ loose clamps. If it's all intact, look around the booster (big bowl looking thing on the firewall) for leaking brake fluid. If the booster is leaking, it will have to be replaced.

For a 1995 Toyota Camry 4 cyl, 2.2 L, Automatic 4-spd, that runs on regular gasoline, the miles per gallon in the city is 19 MPG. On the highway, it's 26 MPG, and combined 21 MPG for both city and highway driving. Brakes dragging bad let sit then fine driving then 5 miles down the road it start again car will come to a complete stop wont move let it cool down its fine brakes are sticking

sounds like some one has put wrong fluid in master cylinder.replace all seals and bleed the system to get rid of wrong fluid. Also rebuild front calipers and rear wheel cylinders or calipers and replace front brake hoses and it will be good.Just done this on the same car.if you dont do all of it you will continue to have trouble.
Good luck

My car stalled and it will turn over but will run rough for a minute and then die. Does not seem to be getting enough gas to keep running. I have a half a tank of gas. It is a 1995 Toyota Camry 4 cyl...

there are many reasons for this...it could be a stopped up fuel filter, to dirty injectors. I would change the fuel filter, then fill the tank, and add fuel injector cleaner, The gas we get these days is not what it used to be....try changing where you get your gas....hope this helps, and please rate me...thank you
