Question about 1996 Ford Taurus
Hello, I can not tell you what this problem is unless there is more detail on whats going on, bu my '96 taurus was doing the same thing so i got a diagnosas ran on it ($75) and it turned up to be a $40 part called the Idle Air Control Valve. In some cases it can be alot of things but run a diagnosas and find out, it will pin point whats wrong with it. Also check out the air filter and your vaccuum hoses and use spray if you can b/c it sounds like a vaccuum leak or loss of air in your filter box (Hole or Not connected Correctly).
