Question about 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Installing a jeep grand cherokee battery for a 2004?
Very simple job. youll need a 10mm socket, a 10 inch extention, ratchet, a 1/2 wrench or 13mm wrench, flat screwdriver.
first you must loosen the nuts on the battery cables but do not remove. wiggle slightly and pull upwards on cable to remove. you may need to use a flat screwdriver to help pry it off. remove the negative cable first to minimize any sparks. once both cables are removed, then use the socket, extension, and ratchet to remove the battery hold down bracket at the bottom of the battery. pull out battery and put new battery in place. reverse procedure for intallation
