The open door indicater is stuck on & it stays on when ignition is off on my 1999 torago

Hi Darren, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Darren most likely you have a defective door ajar switch causing the computer to see that door open all the time and turning on the light. Most are built into the door latch, some are on the body of the car, so you'll need a latch for the door that's causing the issue or a switch that mounts into the door opening on the body. The parts people will know which one you have. Hope this helps and should you find the time please visit my auto-repair-website HERE: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/

best advice is to get a workshop manual for the engine
next
heads can generally be removed in car
next set the valve timing before removing the belt. check and record the position of the cam timing marks
don't move the crank after the head is pulled

Temperature gauge staying on C

first thing i would do is the simplist, and change the thermostat. if that doesnt help, then you may need to backflush the heater core, because sometimes these will plug up.

Oxygen Sensor Replacement 1988 Chevy G20 Van 5.7 350

You'll need to crawl under the van and look at the exhaust pipes before the catalytic converter. You will see it once you take a peek.

Is there an electronic choke on the side of a carby on a toyota torago 1990 model and if so can it stick open?

Hi, All the engine funtions are controlled by the computer(ECU). The only thing you maybe able to change is the idle speed. There is no carb. but there is a throttlebody EFI. Good luck.

I need a heater hose routing diagram for a 1989 Chevy G30 Van with rear heat

The hoses dont matter which way you install them, they just run up the frame to the intake, and water pump outlet the water pump is the pressure side and the intake is the return, if you need any other advice just ask, and please rate or leave feedback

I have no heat in the van-no blower or heat. Is

there are several probable cause it may be a fuse blown, resistor block which you can check for continuity or a blower motor prob. These things need to be checked one at time

No heat

As for the fan your blower resistor is in need of replacement.
To address the heat problem I'll need to know a couple of things
1. Does your vans temp gauge read in the normal range or is it running low(after you've driven it for at least 10 min
2. Is the out side temp really cold?

My 1995 ford areostar van when heat is on only blows cold air

The aerostar has a vacuum operated watervalve in the heater tubing.the valve is located on the
passenger side inner fender behind the aircleaner.with someone operating the controls inside the van
you can check to see if you get vaccum by removing the tiny hose that goes to the water valve
and checking for suction as you in the van person operates the heater conthttp://www.fixya.com/PostAnswer.aspx?thid=1323651&prdid=696348rols. If you have no
vaccum there is a break in the hose between the intake manifold and the valve. If you do get
vaccum check to see if the valve changes position from vaccum on to vaccum off. you can see
this motion on the small lever on the side of the valve. If the valve lever doesn't move you can
move it manually to allow the water to flow through the heater core. if the valve won't move manually
there is an obstruction in the valve. If it does move manually the vaccum diaphragm is gone.
replace the valve. if it moves to the manual open position you can hold it open with a tywrap.
before you get to this point you should first check to see that there is enough coolant in the
radiator. If you still have no heat you can check the coolant flow through the heater core. to do
this remove both heater hoses from the valve and pump water from a hose into one of the hoses
water should flow from the other hose. If it doesn't the heater core is blocked. The rear heater
operates the same way with the watervalve under the van just behind the drivers seat.
Good luck.
