SOURCE: Starter for a 2003 Kia Spectra

I had a kia spectra and I would recommend buying the chiltens manual or haynes if they have it for your vehicle. It has good information on how to fix things like this and many other problems. also there are a lot of good forums out there that already have solutions for this problem, I have checked. Just type in your question in Google and you will find it. Not to bad of a task though, took me an hour or 2 and a 6 pack to get it doen.

Where is the neutral safety switch located on a manual transmission for a 2003 KIA Spectra

I am by no means an expert on Kias. That being said, i would think there wouldn't be a NEUTRAL safety switch on a manual transmission.

There should however be a CLUTCH pedal safety switch that will keep the starter from engaging unless the clutch pedal is depressed.

That switch should be located under the dashboard attached to a bracket near the top of the clutch pedal swing arm.

Hope this helps.

2003 mitsubishi eclipse rs wont start i already repalced the starter...where is the starter relay at

The relay is located in the relay box under the hood in the relay box. I suggest you Google "relay location 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse" for the exact location. For troubleshooting purposes, once you locate the relay, simply swap it with an identical relay within the relay box. If it still fails to start, then it is not the relay.

If the starter turns but doesn't engage then the starter relay is defective. Have it replaced.

How to run a diagnostic for a 2003 kia spectra. Initially the car stalled and fully shut down, no sputter no cough. Car turns over but won't start. Starter, battery, alternater and cables are all...

suggest you by a do it yourself book at your local auto parts store or try a used book store .go to the troble shooting section .as far as diagnostic.im thinking you mean check engine light .you have to have it on or came on to get a code pulled off with a code reader.but your vehicle has an on board system thats the one located by the fuse box in you engine compartment .the do it yourself book will tell you how to do this. just a shot in the dark find your mass air flow .disconect the pig tail, try to start .if that is the problem your car should run ,but realy bad.with the car running plug the pig tail back in the car should die or run even worse.this is my best without more info .you have 3 main trouble shooting air, gas, electrical. got to narrow it down

My right head light is not working.

You do not have separate fuses for each headlight. In the newer they use a relay to control the headlights. That relay could be half bad. So it needs to be completely replaced. Please rate my answer.

Kia spectra wont start

it is probably the starter assuming the engine isnt locked up. I would check to see if you have battery voltage at the starters solenoid wire with the key in the start position if you do i would check the fuses and starter relay
