SOURCE: Rain Sensor wipers Renault Megane

Either the replacement sensor the windscreen technician should have fitted isnt connected properly to the glass or it has developed an intermittant fault - quite common with Renaults especially megane scenics and grand scenics....

SOURCE: My Renault Megane Scenic S reg heater is not working

Most likely to be a faulty resistor block, which has 3 resistors and a thermal fuse controlling fan speeds 1,2 and 3, maximum speed 4 by-passes the resister block. It may also be poor electrical connections to the resistor block caused by overheating. Renault ask for approximately £350 to carry out repairs, a replacement resistor block will cost £50. If you decide to carry out the repairs yourself, be advised that if you are not competent to carry out such work you, could cause electrical damage or worse an electrical fire.

Renault megane jerking as if out of fuel,

Its a renault say no more ,megane petrol and its jerking ,could be a couple of things and for this you will need your friendly renault garage as these cars can be rather problomatic reading the software to say the least and if you can read the software then done expect the code reader to show the correct fault as they use encrypted software to prevent you from getting a true reading ,its to keep the dealers happy but i suspect either faulty throttle pedal sensor but it could be depending on the age of the vehicle the vacumn operated fuel valve on the fuel rail at the end of the injectors but without the year and engine type iam in the dark here.Best bet is not to play with it as they tend to develop more faults but take it to a dealer .These cars are mechanicaly sound and nice to drive for the owner but to us general mechanics a nightmare
