Cheaper to let shop fix. because you need tools like jack stands torque wrench, arbor press need basic mechanic tool set like all metric and standard type wrenches and socket sets.you need almost $1000.00 tools to do your own work.

for less than the price of renting a puller, you can buy a repair manual burned to a CD over on eBay.
perhaps that could give you some guidance on removing the hub. or call a service manager at a Dodge dealer and ask him what hardware holds it on. often times there are large bolts coming through the back of the steering knuckle holding it on.

SOURCE: front wheel hub assembly replacement

if you have basic knowledge you should be able to carry out this job yourself. you will probably need to ring a dealership and ask very kindly if you could have the torque settings for the nuts and bolts ect.

hope this helps.

How do I replace the rear wheel bearing in a 2010 Nissan dualis

Not sure on the Dualis, but Nissan usually has four bolts holding hub/bearing assembly on from the backside. If you have rear disc brakes and the parking brake shoes are inside the hub/rotor, this needs to be removed to access it. Hope this helps

How to Replace rear hub assembly on 2001 v6 sonata with ABS. My right side rear wheel bearing is shot and needs replaced. I think that with this car I have to purchase the hub assembly. I am in need of...

ABS is not involved in this.
Remove wheel/brake caliper (swing to side)/rotor, loosen the big center nut and pull the hub off. (may need hammer)On reinstall you NEED a torque wrench and find out the pounds per sq. inch pressure needed. (!20 lbs is norm, too tight will crunch the bearing) Hour and a half job if all goes well.

Rear Hub and bearing replacement cost

you are looking at $197.88 to $229.09 for the hub assembly (this is for both the bearings and the hubs) and this is just a guess but anywhere from $95.00 to $125.00 for the labor cost
but you can do what I did find a place where the salvage yard is self service and take the hub and bearing assembly off the car in the yard and put on yours cause I only paid $18.00 for the hub and bearings taking them off and putting back on myself you can do it just take your time and have someone to help you and do one wheel at a time

Replacing a rear wheel bearing Hub on a 2001 celica 190?

I had this same problem myself. The hub is a sealed unit and must be purchased as a whole assembly to the tune of around $400 from Toyota. Long story short I never replaced my hub. The problem turned out to be tires that were worn out. I figured that out when i rotated the tires and the sound moved to the front of the car... Go figure. Replaced the tires and all the noise went away.
