What can be causing a knocking sound coming from the right rear tire when I press the breaks

When they adjusted the brakes ,its possible they made it so you can now hear an existing issue. What's most likely happening is that your slave cylinder has frozen in one position. What this causes is for only one brake shoe to expand, not both. I'm assuming that they are drums in the rear. Replace and bleed both slave cylinders, problem solved. This exact problem happened to me about 6 months ago.

Where is the knock sensor on 2009 suzuki sx4

its on all cars, that have it , close to the combustion, area.
its just a microphone (sonic) on side of the engine block.
Varies by actual engine in car, there can be many.
no country or engine or VIN stated.
in general......
it hears KNOCK, (aka. ping, or detonation , all very bad)
if you get DCT fo this (you failed to post the actual number.)
not posting the number makes for big time failure for any helper.
1: wires fell off sensor
2: sensor hit by road flying objects and its damaged.
3: horrid KNOCK, is it? knocking bad?
4: horrid mechanical damage making, clanking sounds, rod bearing going out, or? piston cracks or breaking up.

it's a microphone.
its either dead or intermitant, or hears something very wrong.

My breaks keep grinding and I already payed to get them serviced. I hear knocking noises when I turn. whats the problem?

Usually, a noise when turning is related to an axle problem. The bearing may be going bad. Have it looked at!

the knocking is probably the connecting rod that is between the piston and the crankshaft....the pop you heard was it breaking. this is major engine repair and needs to be looked at by profesionals.

No Oil Pressure

did you check the synchronizer assy? It is the piece with the cam sensor on top in place of the distributor. These have a tendency of breaking. It also drives the oil pump.

1994 Volkswagen MK1 golf knocking noise

Very simple.... I had this problem and it drove me Crazy.... your gearbox engine mount is gone. When you look at it it will look fine but when under load it moves. creating the knocking noise..

Use a crowbar (Very carefully) to move the engine to check.
