Question about 2006 Ford Focus

1 Answer

Radio/cd ive got a 07 ford focus 1.6.. ive had severall problems with the cd ejecting as cd error for no reaso, all new cd discs do it too. fords put it down to me?? If you have less than 36,000 miles and the focus is less than 3yrs old, it is under waraanty and Ford will fix it (at least Courtesy Ford in Altoona PA told me that). I have a 2006 and it has gotten to the point where no cds can be played. It started intermittantly going psycho. It woould randomly pick parts of songs to play on both regular and mp3 cds, then it would add in some fuzzy loud noises, and then bad cd and kick it out. Now I am lucky to play 2 to 3 min of a cd before it starts. Unforuneatley I got my car to the dealership with 37,000 miles on it so the warranty would not cover it.

take the radio out and take it apart and move the sensor out of the way and take the CD out you might have to replace the CD sensor

CD WILL NOT LOAD SAYS NO DISC IN PLAYER

You listed this in the auto section, so I'm not sure just where you have the problem. When you receive an error like this and you've tried several disks with the same result it means your CD player is bad and must be replaced.

My 2005 ford focus CD player doesn't eject the disc out. what is the problem. second i got 2007 ford focus stereo but the connection harness is different how do i convect it to connect to my 2005 ford...

It is very common on Ford models of that year to have cd's not eject. If you are using burned cd's, these are generally to thick for the player to handle. Working at the Dealership i have seen this many times. As far as the wiring harness, its colors should be the same as the old one , so you need to cut off the connectors and reattach.
