I think you have tow issues here that the dealer needs to scan the cars electronics to confirm. The radio problem is due to a sticking door latch switch that senses when the door is opened to shut off the accessories like the radio. The other problem with the way it runs can be understood by reading my explanation below.

The engine and the automatic transmission (transmission control is only for automatics, engine is still computer controlled no matter the transmission type) in this vehicle are computer controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM or ECM,ECU), which is very rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or other pressure related problems. Also engine mechanical problems can and do cause many drive-ability related problem such as rough idle and other symptoms.

SOURCE: My car keep cutting off

You are going to need a crank sensor when it get warmed up it looses its ability to send a signal to the ECM, (resistance is higher when hot and lower when cold) so when it cools off the signal is strong until it get hot then goescansmo_84.gif

I have a 2000 ford focus that would decline in speed while driving changed the fuel pump and housing assembly plus filter but still having problem this started when it started getting cold

Also check spark plugs, plug leads, coils, and air filter, as these are the most common issues with poor performance, especially when cold.

My 2000 ford focus zts starts and runs good until i put it in drive then i drive up to a stoplight or sign then it cuts off unless i keep my foot on the gas, could it be my alternator? please help, thanks

Nope.
Problem sounds like a faulty idle air control valve or dirty throttle body.
The computer adjusts idle speed by the control valve and how much air it lets into the intake.
Is the check engine light on ?

Vehicle Stall - Ford Focus X Reg

I will suggest some cheap areas to try first.
1.Wiring connections to your computer under the dash.
2.Check wiring to fuel pump.
3.Check black boxes under hood. They have relays and terminals may corrode.
4.Ignition switch, sometimes with heavy keychains the contacts can loosen.

Take it to Autozone or Oreillys for a free scan. When you say car cuts out, does anything work like lights, horn, radio? Please post symptoms and if anything has helped you.

Rough idle and volume on the radio varies

have you given the car a tune up yet? is the check engine light on? if so, have you had that checked? that car also had a couple of recalls, have you taken it in to have the recalls repaired? I "HAD" a 2000 ford focus se 2.0L. the volume control in the factory radio has the speed control as in the faster you went the higher the volume went, so the miss in the engine might be being sent through the system and it thinks that you want to over come the roadnoise. as far as I can remember it is adjustable.
