This is likely the thermistor which controls the radiator fan.

Not sure if you've solved your problem but I do have the answer. Also you failed to state that your vehicle will not go into drive because of this warning, which is generally the situation. When the drain ports under the hood clog, moisture runs down under the rug on the interior causing the wiring harness connectors on both sides of your vehicle to corrode. You need to remove the kick plates that cover the rug. Pry the rug away to expose a plastic shroud that covers the harness, just in front of each front seat on the floor. At this time you'll probably notice how wet the rug and it's foam backing is. Dry this out with towels and a hair dryer. Remove the harness cover. You'll see a clear plastic cover and a harness which looks like it's covered in electrical tape. Unwind the tape. This will expose the harness and connectors. If I can remember correctly, there is three connectors on each side, driver's and passenger's. See how corroded they are. Some maybe broken off. Cut back and clean these wires. Before connecting them, use a fine sand paper to clean the wires. Make sure these connectors are facing up and now cover them better than Porsche did. I used electrical tape and plastic wrap, followed by black plastic pull ties. The drain hoses, terminate under the vehicle, just in front of both doors. You'll also need to remove the plastic covers under the hood on both sides of the engine compartment beside the wipers. This will expose the firewall where the drains are generally full of debris like small sticks and rotting leaves. You'll save at least $2000 doing this yourself. Not knowing how to do this, it took me approx. 3 hrs. to do the job correctly. Good luck.

What engine? Check the wiring under the air cleaner to the fuel injectors. It was pretty common for them to get pinched under the air cleaner and short out.

The TDC Sensor on the XJS is in the front of the car -under- the crank (main) pulley. The Speed Sensor is under the car attached to the flywheel cover. Two wires, two small bolts on each, they are also identical parts. The engine starting or not starting and just cranking is dependent on these two sensors. The other sensors all send readings only when the engine is running. The Coolant Temp Sensor on the front top of engine block can seriously effect engine starting and running. All sensors wire back to the CPU, all sensors need to be working and not faulty.

2002 envoy outside temp does not register


Its usually a faulty temperature sensor. Its located to the left side of the rad behind the plastic covers. It may be directly in front of the rad attached to center bracket. Its a small black plastic sensor clipped to the bracket with 2 wires going to it. They can be replaced, no recalibration is needed. Sometimes it will appears as 3 dashes (- - - ) on the temp display.

How to remove starter from olds calais 1986


Remove starter by 1) removing battery cables from battery. 2) jack up front of car, put safety jacks under car frame. 3) block back wheel and put on emergency brake. 4) remove the plastic cover next to tranny. 5) remove 2 bolts that hold stater to engine, lower starter, and remove positive cable, and starter solenoid wire (the small one) mark everyhting so you know where they go(take a picture with you phone camera) 6) take starter to a reliable auto parts place where they can test it.

Where is the cam sensor on 1994 f250 turbo and how do i replace it?


1. Make sure you have the correct part. This depends on the serial number of your engine which should be located on a sticker below the front of the plastic cover for the fuel bowl. Neither Ford or International calls it a "CPS", Ford calls it a CMP sensor and International calls it a CAMP sensor.

2. Remove the #9 fuse under the hood (not in the dash).
3. You may want to remove the belt for easier access, but it's not necessary.



4. Disconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector. The sensor is located towards the bottom left on the front of the engine. You'll see the single wire bundle going to the sensor.



5. Remove the old CMP sensor using a 10mm socket. Be careful not to round off the bolt (there is only 1). It's on there real tight and is tough to get to.



6. Take the new CMP sensor and coat the seal with either motor oil or Vaseline and intall it. Install the bolt and reconnect the wire connector.



7. Reinstall the #9 fuse under the hood and you should be ready to go.

P0134 Error


The front o2 sensor is located atop the exhaust manifold at the back of the engine. If you jack up the car and support it properly then get under the car you will see two small wiring harnesses coming out of a black plastic box in the center of the car next to the exhaust pipe. One of those wires leads to the rear o2 sensor, the other to the front o2 sensor that you want. You will need to unclip the wire in several places and unhook it from the connector under the black cover before you remove it from the manifold.
