SOURCE: What is fault code 31 on a 1997 Dodge Dakota

31 is evaporative emission control system. If it's running ok it's probably just your fuel cap gasket. if you can carefully remove the gasket clean it put it back on and clean the filler tube. Could also be hole in filler tube or vent tube.

SOURCE: What do these codes mean? P1763 and P1762

Those codes indicate an issue with the Governor pressure sensor and the transducer which you'll have to replace. To replace them you'll have to drop the transmission pan to see them. Remove the bolts and disconnect the wiring clips to remove them.

Check your fuel pump pressure at the rail. These codes are an indication that the fuel pressure sensor is faulty or the fuel pump is not bringing the Fuel pressure to the proper level. The first is a warning there is a problem, the second is telling you the pressure is too high which can cause damage to the injector assemblies. The only things that increase pressure are a faulty Fuel pump or blockage issue. This is possibly caused by the Filter being partially clogged and the pump nit compensating but is most likely the fuel pump itself.

I've got a 2000 Dodge 2500 with the 5.9 cummins and its got a code of p1763. At 1st it would start cold and run perfect, but once it warmed up it wouldn't start, now that the weather is warming up it won't...

P1693 is the code meaning that there is the same code in the PCM and the ECM ( engine control module) and (Power Train control module).
P1763 is Governor pressure sensor voltage to high. The governor is in the injector pump I believe. More than likely the sensor is bad.
