Look for a short on the LG/R wire coming out of the BOO (brake on/off) switch.

SOURCE: 2006 f150 keeps blowing turn signal fuse

It sounds like the fuse is doing what it is supposed to do, and burning out when there is a short circuit. Check the wiring from the fuse block back to the lights and pay special attention to the trailer connection.

SOURCE: 2000 Ford Excursion brake and tail light fuses keep blowing out.

If you have a trailer light hook-up where take the harness apart and put in an after market trailer light harness by the rear bumper. Those connectors get corroded and can cause a short especially if you are in an area where road salt is used to melt ice. Take it apart, if it's all crusty in there you might be able to clean it with WD-40 or electric contact cleaner. When you put it back together put some electrical grease in the prevent moisture from getting at the contacts.

2004 Ford Ranger 10 amp fuse keeps blowing no brake lights, abs, turn signals?

Fuses blow because there is an overload on the system. If the fuse blows when you step on the brakes then there may be a short in the wiring from the brake light switch to the lights, abs module or turn signal switch. If the fuse blows when you turn the key on then there is likely a short in the wiring to the brake light switch. Basically you will need a wiring schematic to check the wires at the switch and at each of the loads. Also verify that the fuse is supposed to be a 10 amp fuse. Hope this helps

Brack lights wont light up on my 1988 ford ranger we keep blowing fuse and put in new brake switch

If you keep blowing the brake fuse than you have a short in the system. Unplug the brake switch. Install a new fuse. If it did not blow than the problem is after the brake switch. Next unplug the turn signal switch, then plug the stop light switch back in and press the brake pedal. Did the fuse blow. If not than the wiring is good in between the two switches. With the turn signal switch disconnected use a jumper wire in between the light green wire (power from the brake switch) and the orange with light blue wire (power to the right brake lamp). If the fuse blows than there is a short in the right side brake circuit between the plug in and the rear socket assembly. If the fuse does not blow than jump from the light green wire to the Light green with orange wire (power to the left brake lamp). If the fuse blows than the problem is in the left hand brake wiring circuit.

wich fuse, more specific, maybe the problem is with the electrical circuit on the tun lights switc, or it could be on the lights bulbs on the back of the car

Ford focus brake light failure !!!

1 - are you SURE theyre the right bulbs! - if theyre too bright they can blow the fuse, if theyre the wrong type of bulb they will blow the fuse.. best get the bulbs direct from ford, they are always in stock, so are the proper fuses.
2 - theres a center brakelight isnt there? check this bulb too for proper wattage and size/shape
Other than that maybe the wiring in the boot is damaged and shorting?? -----

Brake lights

If fuse keep blowing, then it is a short. If fuse does not blow, then it is a broken line in the brake light wires, follow the wires down to the fuse. Buy a tester, which costs couple of dollars, to test were is power and were not.
