Question about 2005 Buick LaCrosse

1 Answer

I know this sounds crazy I was just wondering what if any positive results I could yield with this procedure? Also, I was wondering do i need to leave the vehicle on the ground or jack the whole car up and do it in a non-tension state? I know this is not a true 4 wheel alignment so I am unclear! I am very busy so I do not have time to experiment...I would like to thank everyone in advance for your input. Neighborsboy,"Be Easy!"

You need to have a trust angle 4 wheel alignment check done. Tire shops are the best for this.

SOURCE: rear wheel alignment

first of all firestone are rip off artist. you got suckered. next there are struts on the back and yes you should align them however it has more to do with how the tire wears than a steering issue. with only 12,000 miles I seriously doubt there would have been a problem. my solution would have been if one of the front tires was bad i would have replaced it then took the 2 back tires and put them on front and the new tire and other front tire on the back and no alignment would have been needed unless your girlfriend would have complained about it tracking one way or the other. feel free to click on my user tab anytime you need help.... please rate this.........thanks

SOURCE: 2005 buick Lacrosse fuel filter and other problems...

No a Plugged fuel filter would not cause more fuel consumption but would lead to damage to the injectors and the fuel pump, and is much cheeper than the fuel pump or injectors. And I believe you mean Flex plate broke? And I do believe you should check with the dealer this unit should have a 100,000 drive train warrenty and they should kick in on the transmisson.

SOURCE: 2004 Buick Rendezvous, speedometer fluctuations

Turns out this is a common problem for the Rendezvous.
I took it to a mechanic and after he tested to see if all the speed sensors were working with his handheld computer reader, (because there is no speedometer cable anymore) He reset the needle by turning the key about 25 times as far as possible without starting the vehicle. The speedometer needle came back a bit each key turn till it reached zero. It's been working fine since.

I have a 99 jeep grand cherokee 4.7, the alarm went crazy and the wont start. guages dont budge and horn keeps honking and lights flashing. sentry key light is on in guage cluster any help

Sounds like you need to perform a relearn on the anti theft system, it's not recognizing the key if this happens with the key inserted. Might want to look online for a reset procedure for Jeep. GM has you keeping the key in the ignition in the on position for 10 minutes.

I have a 1998 Honda Accord Ex if I park and the car is left in the sun over a period of time it will not start, I then have to roll it in a shade area, wait about twenty minutes then it fires up. I know...

Odds are the car will always be parked in sunlight, the problem is it's not starting after sitting and I can't see how the sun could effect any part of a car except crack your dash over time. I've read of a similar issue but different results. Usually with electronics, like the ECM or a sensor is going bad. Does it crank? Does the crank sound weak? Does the check engine light come on for a few seconds when you turn the key to the ON position (not running) if not your ECM has a short or going bad. Not sure if you have both but very important sensors are the crankshaft position sensor and camshaft angle sensor. If either are bad or going bad, your car will not start except when they feel like working. I'd lean toward something electrical.

Dont know how to enter radio code i have the code but it doesnt do anything i need to get instructions on how to enter it

You have to turn the key to the very first position (do not start car) and leave on for 1.5 hours, then come back and enter your code. Sounds crazy but it works.

Need to check turn signal contacts in column,

Best thing to do, honestly, is to purchase a chilton's or haynes manual when you are working around the air bags. Better safe than sorry.

Installing 4 after market speakers in my Ford F-350. POS/NEG post

this is actually a quotation from a site on the net as i've wondered about it to

"Speaker wire has a mark or strip on one of the conductors this is to indicate polarity of the wire. When installing speakers to the output of an amplifier you need to observe the proper polarity. This is particularly important when installing a surround sound system with front and rear speakers. If the polarity is not followed then the results will be poor balance of sound and even cancellation of some frequencies."

2003 maxima sunroof won't close

Sounds like the sunroof motor is out of time. Needs to be re-timed. There is a retime procedure, (that I would try first) but I don't remember the whole procedure. if you still have the problem, let me know and i will get the whole thing , from the service manual.
