SOURCE: How do you replace the idler pulley on a 2001

Hello i can assist you in your job first thing would to disconnect your batter terminals next have a serpentine belt tension er tool ready to release the tension or your belt.If you haven't a serpentine belt tool these can be purchased at local =auto part supplies.Once you have released the tension on the belt turning the tool counter clock wise you will need to care fully lift the belt off the pulley try to avoid removing the belt from all pulleys if possible. Now you can apply proper size socket the the idler pulley it is a small round idle with a bolt in the center just like the one you have in your hand to replace. Now turn ratchet wrench counter clock wise and remove the bolt and idle. Now install your new idler make sure your serpentine belt is exactly going on the pulley you lifted it off from you have a diagram on your engine compartment inner hood area for diagram if you should need it.Once you have seated your fan belt back on release the tension clockwise now reconnect your battery terminals and start engine be sure all equipment and tools are removed and belt in turning properly on the pulleys and the job is complete.

2001 holden rodeo air conditioning broken, broken fan belt, suitable fanbelt to bypass aircon

Use the same belt as the ac compressor will not work unless you turn it on. Disconnect the wire to the ac pulley clutch and the pulley just becomes an idler and you can get the standard belt anywhere.

Loosen belt isuzu rode 1993

Depending on which engine and which belt, you may have a tensioner that is spring loaded. It is pushed aside by using a large pry bar or 1/2 inch breaker bar.
The 4 cyl engine uses V belts, so you should have an idler pulley which is adjusted with a bolt. You loosen the bolt in the pulley then turn the adjusting bolt.

I have a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo. When starting, it has a loud skreeching noise and when theres a load on it. I have replaced the belt, 2 idler pulleys, alternator, a dummy water pump pulley, and the ac. Still it...

Typically, the noise comes from the fact that the tension on the altenator belt is not enough. I recommend you tighten the belt by adjusting the tensioner screw by about (2) turns and test. Repeat it as necessary until the noise stops.

You'll usually hear the noise right at start up and it will continue for close to a minute until the idle of the car changes.
