SOURCE: Wipers will not park on 93 ford crown victoria

Hmmmm... if you replaced the motor you must have cleaned the area housing the arm mechanism. I had the same problem and found the problem to be in the arm assembly box on the firewall. Under the hood, triangular shaped box with snap on top was full of dirt, leaves and pine needles... I removed all the **** & my wipers now park as they should!!

How do I fix the speed of my windshield wipers, they only work on high speed and I have replaced the windshield wiper motor and that did not help?

In that year they used a wiper control module and the switch to control speeds and delay interval. The part is obsolete at the ford dealer and you may have to resort to salvage yard for part.

Wipers only work on fast. Checked the relay and its good, checked the switches and its good. What else needs to be checked?

This is (obviously) a two-speed motor. The low speed winding is burned out. Replace the motor.

1995 for taurus floor **** car starts but wont shut off unable to find steering column to replace the problematic key actualor

If you want the correct way, I would pick up a $25 Chilton-Hayes manual, and be ready: Usually, this procedure requires taking off the steering wheel, horn, wipers, turn signals, etc. For a fast, $10 fix, you can buy some wire, terminals, and a toggle switch, and run a wire from the positive terminal to the positive coil terminal, and you will have a car on-off switch, just turn it on while running, off to turn it off. Unfortunately, it is a bit redneck-looking.

I have a 2001 VW golf gti and lately I've been having a real problem with my wipers..They only work on very fast, the slow and intermittent speeds don't work, and neither does the wipers when you spray the...

If it was the relay, they would not work at all. There is a speed control for the wipers that controls the speed and delay (not the switch in the steering wheel), call the dealer to see if it is a separate module or integrated into the motor (if it is the later, you'll need a rebuilt/new unit).

Hope this helps.

Wipers won't work on intermitten work ok on slow or fast continous.

You need to replace complete turn signal switch which is integral with the wiper switch. You can buy them at a parts store necessary to pull steering wheel to replace. Good Luck!

1988 Ford Taurus Turn Signals do not work

Yes, it certainly could be the switches in the windshield wiper stalk off of the steering column.
From day one, my (used 14K) 93 Taurus turn signals worked in some positions of the wiper speed and not in other positions of the wiper speed. Fortunately, they always work when the windshield wipers are off.
