Question about 2002 GMC Envoy
Had to chg battery in remote fob. Starter had to be reprogrammed after battery chg. Followed instructions to reprogram and have had no luck getting remote starter to work. I get as far as getting the car to go into program mode but then I can not get the car to accept the code for both fobs. I am extremely frustrated.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

To resynchronize your transmitter, stand close to your vehicle and press and hold the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter at the same time for seven seconds. The door locks should cycle to confirm synchronization. If the locks do not cycle, see your dealer for service. I hope this works and good luck

Have your dealership test the remotes for you, they will also use a "Tech-2" to re-program it and should not charge you to do so. "I know mine does not" The "puddle" lamps come on when you un-lock the doors with the remote."If they are enabled in the options on your dash information center or "DIC". "See owners manual for info on that". As far as the DRL's make sure your bulbs are good because they are known to blow out. But the remote should not have anything to do with those.Hope that helps a little?

depending on your alarm which it sounds like a viper model maybe? on my 02 you have to incorporate a factory alarm bypass module in order to be able to start the truck, they run about 100.00 bucks and have to be profssionally installed. The truck wont start because the computer isnt recieving the proper starting sequence due to the factory alarm
