Without being able to use another key, you will have to remove your immobilizer circuit if it's an after market type, which on the Matiz I'm reasonably certain that it is.
A professional auto electrician should be able to do this rather quickly as they are very easy to bypass and should only take a few minutes work.
If you wish to do it yourself, then you may need a multimeter or a bulb tester.
Locate the ignition wiring loom and find the area where the starter or ignition circuit wires have been split. If there are no signs of this then look for a spare plug next to the ignition barrel, remove any plug which is presently inserted and re-insert the spare plug. That should fix it.
If there is indeed a wire or two which have been cut in the ignition wiring harness for other wiring to intersect, then you will have to remove the other wiring (immobilizer circuit wiring) and reconnect the original wiring. Then try restarting.
If you aren't quite sure what you are doing however then don't attempt this by yourself.
And always bind heavy duty wiring well and solder as well as insulate well when you've finished.

Why daewoo matiz 800cc cranks but wil not start

First things first...check for fault codes..If it was your immobilizer you would have a light on to tell you -(flashing as you turn the key to crank the engine )... and you would have no spark..at the plugs at all.

If your engine has compression, fuel and a spark it will run...

You need to check for fuel and spark as your starting point for trouble shooting your cranks no start problem.

Daewoo matiz car not sparking how to bypass immobiliser

If the immobilizer is indeed your problem, there is now way to "bypass" this sytem. The immobilizer system has to read a frequency produced in your key to allow the veh to start. It is a theft deterent. If it could simply be "bypassed", the system would be useless as anyone could start the veh. Ususally, immobilizers kill the fuel supply, not the ignition spark. If you have no spark, you may hve another problem all together.

Daewoo matiz 2001 turn ignition key on ( position2 ) wait 5seconds diagnostics pass and red flashing immobiliser led turns off (1) try to start car by turning key to position3 but starter does not...

Hey David. Your problem is most likely the cables going to the starter. Corrossion (greenish white powder) will travel up the wires and cause alot of resistance. this resistance cuts down the voltage and amperage going to the starter, thus not letting it turn over. This is where I would start to look and replace if necessary. Also at the battery it corrodes as well. use a wire brush to clean here.

this problem sounds like either a fuel filter or ignition coil a faulty coil pack will work fine until it gets hot from a short inside

If the chip in a key for a 94 cadilac ingnition key glitches up will the lights and stuff still come on but the car not start?

yes the lights on the dash will light up as usual but the car wont start as it is immobilised if the chip in the key has stopped working, usually there is a red light that flash's somewhere on the dash and when the car recognises the key the light will stay on and the car will start! if te chip is gone the car will ight up as usual but it wont start as it will be immobilised although on a car of the age yours is the immobiliser will be simple to bypass if you hav'nt got the knowledge an auto electrician shoul be able to sort it out with in a hour so it won;t be exphensive.
