If You are talking about the wireing harness, The constant wire is to keep the memory in for the radio (Stations) It has to be hook up to where there is power at all times, Evan when the vehicle is shut down, End not (Running)

Does the bcm have constant power going to it

I think you mean Pcm. But anyway yes it has constant power going to it as does the radio and security features if you have those. Could be bad battery, bad connection to the battery, faulty battery terminal or blown main fuse.

2005 hyundai tucson battery drains. We're almost positive it's the radio. What radio can we get to replace it and fix the problem

Unless the radio is defective, or, in the case of an aftermarket radio, wired incorrectly, there is no reason for a radio to cause a major battery drain. Yes, they do have a constant source to maintain memory, but that current is minimal. Any radio, operating properly and installed correctly (meaning that the main power is on a switched circuit that goes off with the ignition switch) should be fine.

STEREO ETC STAYS ON EVEN AFTER TURNING IT OFF AND REMOVING THE KEY

It sounds like you have a constant 12V power supply wired to the radio instead of a switched 12V. If you've recently installed a new radio, check your wires again. There should be a 12V constant and a 12V switched. The switched 12V will turn the radio off, while the constant 12V is for keeping the clock and radio memory working.

Battery light is constantly on and battery went flat after radio and fan was on for long journey, could not start again except for jump start. charged the 2 batteries over nite and has kept charge for over...

the battery light is on to indicate to u that the cars alternator is not charging the battery, it doesn't mean the battery is bad, with no charge from the alternator the battery will quickly run flat.

No sound on radio

The actual problem may be with the radio itself in the preamp circuit or the cabling from the radio to the amp. Since you are getting output from the Sub, that means the amp has power and so does the radio. However, the standard audio line is usually seperate since the selection of speakers is controlled from the radio itself and the sub is constant except for volume
