Take it to some one that has done the job before. End no what they are doing, It is not a job for a amature to try,I have seen lots of people try it end realy mess up. Then they end up having to take it to a shop end pay triple the amount, From if they would of took it to some one that has done it (Before) Right from the start.

SOURCE: Replace Turn signal switch
Fairly simple for average guy. Go or call a local parts store, and ask for a multifunction switch, your VIN number will help them to better ID the right one, cost maybe $80-100. They should be able to show you a diagram as to how it installs, usually just a couple of screws to remove plastic shouds to access the switch, which should have a plug going into it, plug and play.

According to AllData, you don't have to remove the motor to install a new switch. Subsequently, AllData doesn't give direction on wiper arm or motor removal. Here are the only diagrams they give for switch replacement.

Well sure enough all I had to do was replace the circuit board...wish I had done this a couple months ago...it was so easy to do and will now be much easier to drive with being able to see clearly again....

these are tricky i have done this several times on the same make and model it sounds like the linkage has slipped out of the actuator in the column
