I have a 1997 Mercedes S500 Coupe. The problem I have is that the number 8 coil and plug aren't firing. I have changed both coil and plug, but it's just not firing at all. My question is, could it be

when you say not firing have you removed the plug and checked for spark across the plug points. If you haven't done that then do so as misfiring can also be from faulty injector( blocked tip or faulty electronics)

1997 F150 I have recently changedmy plugs adnwires on my truck but my number 8 plug wont stop miss fireing and is propperly gapped whyyyyyy?

Hello! Several faults could be the cause...To be accurate I'll need some clarification...How do you know that plug #8 is misfiring? Can you give a more in-depth explanation? Are all eight plugs of the same type...ie...Autolite XP'S? Have you swapped plugs and wires in an attempt to localize the fault?
