Crack open no 1 injector while a friend turns over engine and it should fire up although I would have thought it would self bleed as I know for a fact that a Ford Escort would have otherwise you may have a leak in the fuel system

SOURCE: BLEEDING REAR BRAKES CAN BLEED ONCE THEN SECOND

Sounds like a problem with the proportioning valve. Try not to push the pedal down to far when bleeding. The valve sounds like it is getting stuck closed, and takes a little bit to release and allow fluid to pass again.

How to bleed the fuel system in the 2009 Mondeo after changing the fuel filter on a diesel

You don't. You just crank the engine until it starts. Modern vehicles work on a pressurised system with a return back to the tank. The fuel is pumped from the tank to the injectors and excess fuel is returned to the tank.

How to bleed injector pump on isuzu nkr pick up

These are self bleeding so if diesel is getting to the pump it won't need bleeding. If you still feel the need to bleed the system then loosen one injector pipe turn the engine until you see diesel coming tighten again it should fire up. If you have a good flow of diesel coming from the filter to the pump and diesel at the injector pipe then your pump pressure may be low. To check remove any injector reconnect the pipe to it with the injector end where you can see it. Turn the engine with the starter a few times the diesel should be making a mist. Wear eye protection for this test

Ford galaxy 2007 ran out diesel an would not start afterwards tried everthink can u advise me please

Hi James, If any diesel vehicle runs out of fuel it is required to 'bleed' out any air that has entered the system. Have a look on top of the diesel fuel filter housing and there should be a bleeding nipple. It will usually be a ten millimeter or sometimes an eleven. Loosen that until when you pump the plunger on top of the housing, clear diesel passes out. Pump several times, as maybe for the first five or six times the air wont be expelled. Once all the air has been expelled lock the bleeding nipple closed and after preheating crank and start....

Kangoo 1.5 diesel van wont start.

Just had exactly the same problem with my Kangoo, the bolt had come loose on the bottom crank pulley and the alternator belt came off, unfortunately, as I have found out, this allows the cam belt pulley to move on the shaft and the timing will have slipped and this almost certainly causes damage to valves, pistons etc. I'm just about to strip mine down to find the damage.
Not good news but hope it helps to find the problem.
Fraser.

Kangoo van ran low on fuel,so replaced filter, now its cutting out and there is air bubbles in the fuel line, tried to bleed it by the rubber bulb near the filter but the air keeps coming how can i solve...

you will have to bleed a little more specific. if you look under the bonnet and find the final valve which iss not connected on both sides and undo the one wothout the pipe connecting it. not all the way as this is a bleed screw and only needs slackening. once this is achieved then you should pump slowly with the little black bubble which you mentioned previously.
