Well ima pretende that you are talking about the coolant system on you car that's going somewhere and you don't have any leaks? Well the best thing ill suggest to do first is check your engine oil stick and make sure you don't see any coolant mix with oil wich it will be like milky and second I want to ask you if you usisng you heater if you do you may probability have a heater core leak and next thing to do is performed a pressure test on you coolant leak if you don't have any tools to do this take it some where and let then do the pressure test you may have a minor leak somewhere try that and let me know.

No coolant in the oil. heater works fine untill the coolant level gets low. seems like that when you have a leaky heater core you see/and or smell coolant inside the car floor board or fire wall. dont have tools for a pressure test.

2002 Lincoln LS Check engine temp and reduce speed came across screen, car started reducing speed then died NowThe coolant keeps disappearing its not leaking anywhere. What could be the problem?

Coolant just does not disappear!!!!!!! Either you have a leak somewhere or perhaps one of your engine head gaskets is shot and leaking coolant into the oil passages. Check your oil for color. If it has the color of a brown mud that is the cause of your problem.

Re leaks check all of your heater and engine hoses and clamps. Do not overlook your radiator cap nor your expansion tank for leaks.

98 Pontiac grand Prix 3.8, over heating, antifreeze disappearing, transmission slipping, is it possible for transmission fluid to leak into the radiator?

Yes, your transmission cooler is inside of the side tank of the radiator. If your coolant looks like pink sludg, then there is a good chance that you need your cooling system and trans fuid flushed and a new radiator installed.

The mechanic says the antifreeze is disappearing on my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer. He doesn't see any leaks on radiator. It has 100,000 miles on it.

Antifreeze doesn't just disappear. If it is not leaking from hoses or radiator or reservoir that usually means it is being lost in the engine block. This could indicate bad seals. This also will cause rust and corrosion throughout the exhaust system, including the catalytic and muffler.

My antifreeze leaks out every two week

leaks to passenger floor
to garage floor,
or you mean, the coolant just disappears like magic.
disappears in the overflow tank?
and or actual radiator. top fille?. (no engine option stated, so...)

if rad has a cap, some dont, we remove the cap , engine dead cold
never hot, and look to see if its full, if it keeps dropping
the coolant loss can be ? (rapid, and 2weeks is rapid)

1: bad head gaskets, or worse cracked block/head.
running 50% antifreeze ratio> , is it cold there,????????????
2: A/T tranny the , tranny cooler can fail too, and put AF in the ATF.
that means look at dip stick on A/T is it pink or UGLY?

is it freezing there, no location stated, so cant guess.
if yes, is the coolant ever allowed to drop below 50% ratio?
got a coolant hydrometer, check it each late summer, ???
no? oops

2002 duramax tranny fluid disappearing

your trans fluid is cooled in the radiator , so there is likely a cracked coolant line in the radiator and the fluid is being dispersed as overflow from the radiator

Water disappearing out of radiator or plastic water tank, in Nissan Primeria 2001

The first step would be to pressure check the cooling system. Do this with the engine cold, then with the engine running, then with the engine hot. If there is an external leak you should be able to find it.

My coolant is rapidly disappearing, and I have no clue why?

IF YOU GOT TOO MUCH WATER IN COOLANT SYSTEM AND DONT HAVE 50 / 50 MIXTURE OF ANTIFREEZE AND WATER. WATER WILL EVAPORATE BOIL AWAY.CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS LOOK AT TOP AND BOTTOM RADIATOR HOSES LEAKS, CHECK FOR COOLANT LEAKS AROUND BOTH RADIATOR CONTAINER AND RADIATOR CORES LEAKING. CHECK WATER PUMP WEEP HOLE. IF LEAKING WATER NEED REPLACING, CHECK ENGINE CRANKCASE ANTIFREEZE WILL LEAK IN CRANK CASE OR LEAK IN THE INTAKE GASKET COOLANT WILL BURN WITH FUEL.MANY THINGS WILL CAUSE COOLANT LOST.

Trans fluid disappearing -no leaks --where is it going /????? 1996 blazer 4x4 --4.3 v-6

If it is not leaking on the ground you better be checking your radiator. - possible leakage into radiator from the cooler.

1998 ford taurus keep running hot

When car is cold make radiator is full.then fill up your recovery tank make sure you do not spill. then park car on level ground and it dry look for any wet spot's on the ground. If no leak's you have a blown head gasket and if it's useing water that much do not drive it

leak in the actual system, try running the car as it warms up and look underneath it too see if any water leaks out. Some water will seem to disappear if the radiator cap is worn out also.

It has to go somewhere!

its either
1) physically leaking out
2) leaking out through overflow/radiator cap
3) going through the engine (unlikely if its going through a lot quickly) check your exhaust to see if steam keeps coming out when warmed up (steam can come out on cold says and be normal)

remember as the car warms the pressure will rise, so the leak might not show up for a while and DONT open the radiator cap when the engine is hot!
