What does the noise sound like? it may be cam noise form your cam lobes or you may have a lazy cam follower what did yo7ur motor rebuild consist of and are you sure noise is from top end and not an over tightened cambelt wich will give a noise similiar to noisy cams

I have a 2001 daewoo laganza that has a cylinder 3 missfire. I have changed the plugs and wires, but the car still gets horrible gas mileage and is still missfiring. Car runs like **** up until I get it to...

My 2001 Daewoo Laganza also showed this problem. It turned out that my valve cover gasket was
not seated properly and oil was accumulating around the spark plug of the #3 cylinder. Replaced gasket and engine started running fine.
