This maybe a fuel problem check fuel filter. also clean maf sensor, (manifold air flow). YOU CAN GO TO ANY AUTO PARTS STORE AND BUY A CAN OF MAF SENSOR SPRAY. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS ON CAN CAREFULLY. as long as you have the spray clean iat sensor, (Intake air temperature) it is in big hose from air filter to throttle body. it just pulls out from hose. it would not hurt to make sure the plugs are ok. because these two sensors have a lot to do with the load on engine as well as the map sensor.

Couple of things....fuel filter could be pretty clogged....fuel pressure regulator is bad....

Loss of power, studdering at high rpms when at temp.

Sound's like it break down due to no oil or water circulate
the engine. Or wrong spark plug gap. So it increase too much heat.

-Try this:
1. Flush the engine. Flush the coolant.
2. Check spark plug gap (Adjust to correct gap)
3. Check oil pressure. If it's low then new oil pump is need.

Good Luck

95 chev k1500 studders while at low rpms

I would take the throttle body off and look at the fuel pressure regulator spring they have a bad habit of breaking or getting weak and getting alot of sludge on the diaphram you can buy a regulator kit aftermarket if you need one.

Santa fe studdering and won't accelerate right? RPM's jump and then steady with continuing studdering?

Engine performance problem causes are many. Try this first.
1. Disconnect the battery cables (both of them)
2. Touch/connect the postive and negative battery cables together for 30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the cables to the battery.
4. Drive vehicle to see if this solved the problem. Let me know what happens.
