Question about 1988 Chevrolet S-10
Ok i fixed replaced my torque converter. but when it shifts into any gear it revs real high.i think its slipping. is there anything i can do? i heard changing the fluid and filter sometimes helps
If you drive it to much you will cause it to burn up, but to check the fluid level drive some to warm up( engine temp should be about half way (and you should reach 50mph) the park with it running(has to be running) and pull the tranny dipstick to check fluid level
if the trans and engine are cold it wont read the correct level
it will slip if the fluid is low
