SOURCE: pontiac firebird 2001, my turn signals don't work.
the problem most likely exist in the signal lever. Check and trace your wiring from lever to flasher

doggymom676: I would approach the problem from the simplest point and then inward. Believe it or not, it is not as uncommon as one might think, for both bulbs to be blown on just low or high beams on both sides. What I would suggest is trying another bulb on one side to see if it works before getting into expensive diagnostics which you may or may not be capable of doing.
The second thing I would look at would be the dimmer switch which is part of the turn signal switch. This can be checked with a test light. Coming off the switch low beam will be the yellow wire. It should be hot when switched to that position.
Hopefully this shold resolve your problem, if not, I'll see to it that I am able to follow through with some assistance.

In the engine comaprtment or under the dash panel or at the sides of the dash panel check fuses if its not the fuse do you hear the motor if not its the motor that makes it go up and down./ Please rate my response thank you very much

Thanks for your answers guys really helpfull...there is a wiring fault...bulbs are fine current not passin on from the switch.
