05 G Caravan Dash Lights, gages & headlights intermitantly flicke

I have an intermittant problem with the gages, dash lights and headlights flickering. It seems to come and go to no reason and they all seem to go together. It is an 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan. There is no effect on the vehical running.

Thanks. Will this solve the gage flutter too? I would not think this is related but I could be wrong.

Try your headlight switch. If it is going bad it should affect all of these since they all work of the same switch.

How do I get the gages on my 2014 Toyota Tundra to illuminate during the day.

Many new cars have a sensor on the dash, found under a hole in the top of the dash, that tells a computer when to turn on the dash lights and headlights. If you cover this hole, the lights should turn on.

Any time the headlights are on, the dash lights should illuminate as well.

Whitehead fuse works the gage lights on my 2004 chev 2500HD I've looked in both fuse panels and I can't find the fuse dose anyone know which one it is

I don't think there is a fuse for the dash lights.
On newer GM trucks the lighting is handle by the body computer, the switches provide ground to the BCM and power for the dash lights comes from it.
The headlight switch provides a ground to the BCM and to the headlight relays. All of the external lights have fuses.
If you can't find a fuse for dash lights in the owners manual I will say it has been dropped.

My dash lights and gages are not working and my night driving lights are not working either... do i need a new cluster

If you mean the parking lights, they are not affected by the cluster.
The gauges are on one fuse, the dash lights are on another, and the parking lights on a third circuit.
I would check for power at the fuses then headlight switch for the lighting problems. And for voltage at the fuse and the connector on the back of the cluster for the gauges problem.

1997 Dodge Grand caravan, problems started with intermittant loss of gages & flashing lights on the buttons for a/c & recirc. it then progressed to the loss of my hi beams, cabin lights, remote...

mcdevito75 here, Sounds like you have a problem under the dash with the main harness wireing as it comes thru the dash board from the firewall or at a connection under the dash board. Or if your dash board is controlled by a circuit board. Best Bet, Have an electrical auto shop in your area take a look, many things to take apart under the dash and you may make the problem worse with out realizeing it, no matter how versed you are with cars.

sounds like the headlight switch needs to be replaced. it controls the headlights and dims the dash lights.

Instrument cluster and lights are turning off intermittently.

Likely you have a bad connection on one of the dash connector plugs. Generally if they come on when you smack the top of the dash when they go off that verifies it. If so, remove the dash face and gauge panel (use manual) and clean contacts.

Lights started flickering battery light came on Dash lights and gages went crazy now wont start

Like you said, battery may be flat. You can check that with a multimeter.

Next check the alternator. Faulty alternator leads to uncharged battery.

Check your fuse box. Sounds like it may be a fairly inexpensive fix.
