SOURCE: green and red anti-freeze

probably not. there are some anti freeze products that say they mix with all, but for the most part the reason they don't want a different type is because it either has or doesn't have an additive that doesn't meet the criteria for what they've built. corrosion prohibitors and such.

SOURCE: brake fluid and anti freeze

DOT Type 3 or better. Look at the brake fluid cap - it will tell you there.

Anti freeze? Go to your full service auto parts store or your authorized Ford Dealer to get the proper anti freeze for your Expedition.

Type antifreeze for a 2006 Chrysler Town & Country?

if the coolant is red/orange in colour then it is the long life anti-freeze and this is the type you need to use. if its green in colour then its the regular type. as for brand it won`t really matter just don`t buy the recycled type of anti-freeze.

1998 ford expedtion running hot and will not hold antifreeze

A number of things. Check the hoses for cracks or leaks especially around thermostat housing. Look for green coloring. Also check radiator by looking underneath engine. Best way to check is by running the SUV. Make sure you put water in radiator and secure cap to pressurize the system. One other place to look for leaks is the overflow tank.

Just want to know what kind of antifreeze to put in my 1999 grand prix

Look what color it is. If it green it's the regular old fashion kind just buy the pre dilluted 50/50 blend. If the color is orangie- redish it's the new technology Synthetic anti freeze. Buy the apropriate jug. or Simply buy it from one of many autopart stores and ask the counter clerk. Yours is probably the orange red colored. Costs more but don't go cheap and put the green stuff in it will dry rot your heater core fast and then you'll have some problems.

Honda has a blue anti-freeze that comes in their radiators. It doesn't have additives that can damage the water pump. Look on the back of the anti-freeze and get one recommended for honda or go to a dealer.

Heater will not blow hot air while truck is idle. When truck is moving hot air blows. There is some clear redish leakage underneth the truck. How can I fix this problem?

You are low on coolant. Find the leak, the red is most likely the coolant.
Coolant comes in 2 colors red and green.
Your leak is probably either a hole in a hose or a faulty water pump. The water pump has a small hole, usually on the bottom, when the seal goes bad, it will leak there. The only fix is a new water pump.

If it is a hose, just replace it. Make sure when you fill it that you fill the radiator and the overflow, just filling the overflow could cause it to over heat.
Also, depending on your climate, you need to mix your anti-freeze with 30-50% water. If you live in a very cold climate, you want to go with 30%water-70%anti-freeze.
Make sure that you use the right anti-freeze. red with red, green with green. Some green ones are now compatible with the red, if you change the color, make sure it is compatible.

What type of anti freeze should I add?

Suzuki forenza uses Green silica based anti-freeze. If you mix the wrong kind with it, it will gum up your thermostat (90 dollars) and potentially mess with some of the smaller cooling fluid tubes and passages. Not to mention, the water pump is not to fond of gritty fluid. So if you see discoloration in the bright green fluid, better drain it, flush the system out with a garden hose for 5 to 10 minutes, and refill it with new fluid.
